JHLGC ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

Tuesday, March 10 @ 5:30 pm at JHCG clubhouse.

The JHLGC is governed by a board of directors. This board is comprised by

the co-chairs of the standing league administrators of both leagues

(Wednesday Morning Ladies Day League & Late Swingers League) with

the remaining members being the tournament chair, secretary/treasurer,

and the handicap chair. The JHLGC board ensures that all committees have equal and fair representation of both leagues.

Handicap Chair

The Handicap Committee wants to remind everyone that handicap fees need to be paid no later than March 29th in order to maintain an active handicap. Any handicap not paid by that date must be inactivated in the system. The scores are not deleted but it takes approximately 4 weeks to reactivate.

A new handicap will be established after fifty-four (54) holes of golf have been played and entered into the GHIN system. Scores may be entered from any course to help establish your handicap.

Entering Scores:

The handicap system lists KY as having a golf season from Mar 1-Nov 30. If you play outside of those dates, you do not have to enter any scores.

Those states that have a year round season include FL, MS, GA, AL, LA, NC, SC, VA, TN, AR, AZ, TX, OK, HI - mostly warmer climates. May you be able to play in some of these states this winter. If you do, please post those scores.

If you would like a JHLGC shirt, you just need to purchase the shirt of your choice and take it to Creative Stitches, 210 Kings Daughters Drive, Frankfort, and the nice lady will put the logo on for you. The cost of the logo is $16. These are NOT available in the pro shop.
