Ladies will be assigned a "Match" and the winner will advance to the next bracket.  Match play rules will be provided, and handicaps will be used to determine stokes given.

The Way it is Played:

  • Each hole is a separate contest. The player with the fewest stokes on an individual hole wins that hole; the player winning the most holes wins the match.
  • If you win the first hole, you are “1 up” and your opponent is “1 down”. If you tie the hole, then you are “all square”.
  • A match is over when one golfer has a lead that is larger than the number of holes left in the round. For example, a golfer can win a match by taking a three-point lead with only two holes remaining. If the match is tied after 18 holes, the players will play additional playoff holes beginning with #1 until one player wins.
